This past October, 2020, I traveled to the Eagle Ridge Territory outside of Galena, Illinois. I had just gotten a new Cannon Camera with multiple lenses that I wanted to try out. These are some of those images. Photo Images credited to Vickie L Klinkhammer of Vickielynne Photography and Designs(VLP & Designs). After doing 'realism' on these rocks, I decided to abstract the scene as it kept more of the soul.
Hele Bay, North Devon.
This past June I had the opportunity to take a few rides along the Mississippi River. These particular photo images were taken out by Mud Lake and then a few were taken by Lock and Dam 11 in Dubuque, Iowa. I found the river to be a beautiful blue, along with the sky, the algae a nice contrasting green along with the blades of grass, weeds, and reeds that were popping up and floating along the top of the river. Lily pads and leaves were also in the mix floating along the river bank. Nature at its finest. The piano is a wonderful invention. There is just nothing like it... well, a pipe organ is more grand, but the piano, with its loud and soft pedals, and the sustain pedal, and the 88 note range... just beautiful music!
Here are my piano keys... abstracted a bit.
This image will do for K is for Keys, for February Alphabet Fun Month,

Things are getting crazier, here. Today we shopped for something my daughter could wear to her wedding.... wow, dresses are expensive. She isn't doing a wedding dress, so she found something. Now we have to get shoes. And I have to make menus and go grocery shopping, and meanwhile we are trying to get her visa application filled out, and getting ready to have her fiancee as a guest. Of course, dishes and laundry and bathroom cleaning and all the regular stuff.
This is all just... so... all of a sudden!
But I got K done!
Peeking through vine and passion into late afternoon sun ....
The grapevine has already little green grapes and the passion plant (Passiflora) flowers abundantly ....
