A landscape version of the ‘Cheesegrater’, a car park in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. It was designed by architects Allies and Morrison.
In 2009 it won a RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) Regional Award. These awards are given to UK buildings for their regional architectural importance. In 2013 it gained third place in the 'World’s Coolest Car Park' awards.
Here is another photo of mine showing a building in London by the same architects: flic.kr/p/Ts4f8Y
Another photo of Centre Point, a Grade 11 listed landmark skyscraper in central London. Currently under reconstruction. Original architect: George Marsh of R. Seifert and Partners. Original construction completed in 1966.
The title is that of an abstract painting by Lee Krasner, I thought it suited this photo although it bears no resemblance to that artwork. My photo, a detail shot of a weathered farm building in West Yorkshire, has the feel of a ghostly forest.

Originally named the Post Office Tower, now BT Tower, this 1960's structure was, until 1980, the tallest building in London. There was a revolving restaurant at the top which was closed soon after opening.
In February 2024 it was announced that this structure had been sold by BT Group telecommunications company to an American company, MCR Hotels. It is due to be converted as an hotel by Heatherwick Studios. I believe that this conversion is still in the planning stages.
Architect: Eric Bedford & G R Yeats

Little Miss Lake Panasoffkee's case...
Main article: Little Miss Lake Panasoffkee
Two hitchhikers from Illinois discovered the partially decomposed body of an unidentified woman between the ages of 17 and 24 years old under the northbound lane of Lake Panasoffkee's Interstate 75 overpass on February 19, 1971. She was found with a man's belt around her neck.
In the early 1990s, the American television series Unsolved Mysteries featured the case in an episode...and as of 2021 (50 years) ... the case is still unsolved. The body was dressed in a green shirt, green plaid pants, and a green floral poncho. Also found were a white gold watch and a gold necklace. On her ring finger there was a gold ring with a transparent stone, indicating that she may have been married. Wikipedia
