this is a glacier that's 15 miles down a graded gravel road then 3 plus miles off that ... and then a quarter mile down a path and you pop out right at the glacier. this image is taken across the lake at the base and are really quite large... but it looks like smallish pieces. the black "boulder looking pieces are really just dirty ice.
