I love a photo that doesn’t have a lot of visual clutter, and I love a photo that has a strong point of focus. For this photo, I love that the subtle colors work so well together, and that the lines are so strong throughout.

My challenger for this round was the skilled Chris_Hancock, who said "So here is your challenge...architectural abstract. Find a building/structure and take a photo of it in an abstract way. You can decide whether to shoot in a city, home, or shed and process it however you see fit. They key for this push is to keep it "unreal.""
I didn't know what that was so I googled it for some examples. As it turned out, Chris' stream is full of great examples. See his stream www.flickr.com/photos/chancock789/
So armed with some examples, this is what I managed to capture. A glass walled building showing the reflection of the sky. Then I dirtied it up a bit in Photoshop. This is not as good as Chris' but it's a step in the right direction?!
Thanks Chris.
Went on my very first photowalk with other established photographers at Las Vegas, Nevada, USA during 9mar15 as part of the Chrysta Raes Great Scavenger Meetup. Our destinations included the Lou Ruvo's Cleveland Clinic, Symphony Park, and the Smith Center for the Performing Arts. Shout out to Oscar Goodman.

Link included in description. The Cleveland Clinic - Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. Located at the intersection of Bonneville and Grand Central Parkway in Las Vegas, Nevada. Perspective from the South looking North.
Lots of comments at this link address from people who live in Las Vegas, as well as a summary of the inception.

The building of the Clinic began with the ground breaking on 9 February 2007, and opened on 13 July 2009 at a cost of $70 million dollars; the property was donated by The City Of Las Vegas. The founders of Keep Memory Alive suffered great personal tragedy, and have funded the construction of the Clinic. It is located in the now very robust Symphony Park Development.

There was a birthday party celebrating Muhammed Ali's 70th that benefited the Cleveland Clinic on 5 March 2012 attended by many successful people including Lenny Kravitz, Emeril Lagasse, Sammy Hagar, and Resheda Ali. The link address below has photos from the event:

The Wikipedia page on Muhammed Ali is very informative, and I was quite surprised when reading about all of the things the man has done in his life. It was certainly worth reading.
