I absolutely loved the fall reflection on that very small pond water with leaves and debris especially in the shadow when all the subjects turn blue. So I know where to go this week for more of these.
I've been struggling to find a way to express my deep connection to the desert, the mountains, the rivers, lakes, flora, and fauna where I live beyond "straight" landscape photography. Drawn to the abstract where color, line, and impression speak more than detail, I've been playing with Multiple Exposure combined with Intentional Camera Movement. A few recent in-camera experiments are beginning to show some promise.
I know I could easily and most likely come up with more hits than the SD cards full of near-misses if I layered images in Photoshop, but I like the challenge, the immediacy of choosing what's before me in that chosen moment and environment. And, I like playing outside more than in front of the computer.
