Well. I have to say that I really enjoy wearing Luana's clothing and I've bought several things without being in this contest. With that being said I love how colorful her clothing is, and how fun she makes her items. I think I'd be a great candidate for Amarelo's New Face because I'm enthusastic about the brand! I promote it whenever I can and I always take my friends over to her store. Not to mention, I think Luana is so wonderful, creative, and nice. I would love to work more with her.

Thanks for your time!

new to my gloo-tree series

A new law repealed the ban on the manufacture and sale of absinthe in the United States. Thus I found the popular French brand of absinthe, Lucid, on sale in our local boozateria. Yay!

Artemesia pontica (petite absinthe). It looks like grande absinthe except it's, well, petite!

La " Fée verte " de la fin du 19è , Valladolid, bord du Duero, août 2012

This famous anise-flavored liquor was banned by social conservatives in France, the US and lots of other places, in the early 20th century because of its supposed psychoactive properties. It's not gonna morally destroy the working classes, as they feared, but at 69% alcohol(in this case) the stuff will put you away fast. The utensils are absinthe spoons, used to melt a sugar cube in the drink, which is also cut with water. Seen in a shop window in Montmartre appropriately.

Hard Day's Night

It's been a hard day's night

I should be sleeping like a log.

....instead of starting on the absinthe at 7:30am after an all night drinking session. Click the "more properties" link over there on the right and check the time it was taken if you don't believe me. ;-)

This is why they call him Victor. To the nights of Belle Guelle, they just kept being weird.
