Rich landscape of a dramatic beach scene with a beautiful sky above a lone walker waiting fir the tide to go out so she can walk across to the island. Ynys Llanddwyn (also known as Llanddwyn Island) is a small tidal island off the west coast of Anglesey (Welsh: Ynys Môn), northwest Wales.
A stunning mixture of low cloud and mist drifting around and through Nant Gwynant valley in Snowdonia
Simon atop a rock buttress on Ben More in the Britannia Range, overlooking Howe Sound
Inside story on the shot: We had begun ascending the ridge above, when we all looked back at this view. When Chris and I commented that it'd be a superb shot but it would work better with scale, Simon backtracked down the slope and climbed out to the lookout. Now that is what I call doing anything for the right photo! From afar it may look precarious but he assured me at the time that it was not difficult ground at all.
Fantasy Faire charms our spirits for a week at a time year after year. It reminds me of The Smithsonian Institute because you just can’t really ever see it all. Thanks goodness for all the photographers, writers, bloggers and shoppers who present their photographs not only for the week, but all year long and ever after.
My favorite first stop has always been Fairelands Junction where I melt over the presentation teleporters which display a glimpse of what you will find behind the door.
Fairlands Junction is where you whisper…..”decisions, decisions, decisions”!
Of course, there’s plenty more there….more to come….

During the early morning under clear blue skies this Osprey flies above on the grounds of Fort Pickens located on the far West end of Pensacola Beach Florida.
This swallow was along the Willamette sea wall, apparently gathering material for a nest. I was on top of the wall, leaning over the edge to get this much. I think that it's a female cliff swallow, but not really sure - maybe a bank swallow? Didn't have the band across the chest, though...
Two views on separate days, separate atmospheric conditions.
Pico de Orizaba watches over as another uphill train makes great progress towards points north. We are above the north portal of tunel no.20. The siding at Huaxtitla is around the corner out of view in the background. There are most definitely spots along this gravel road further (railroad) south over to the left where you can witness the entirety of the climb from Acultzingo to this spot. Vaqueria is above and behind me. A totally visible three layer cake depending on where you want to watch from down below in the valley.
It was a moody spring afternoon spent with my head in the clouds. Love the dramatic skies during season change.
When I'm out in the city trying to capture stories sometimes I think, "What's on that mailbox's mind (or stop sign or deliver van)?" 🤔
OK - but before you unfollow me, just look at that Pepsi machine all alone up there. No one is has been taking the L as much during this pandemic, so I know those drinks have to be 2019 versions.

Above the waves, beneath the sky.
A lone boat drifts serenely on the open sea, while the sky glows with the colors of the sunset—from soft gold to deep blue. The waves reflect the last light of the day, making the moment seem almost magical.
A moment of stillness.
A place where time stands still and the horizon opens up to everything.
Left Dubuque this morning at 6:00 AM headed to Chicago. First leg of trip. Wasn’t the morning sky spectacular? Photo images credited to Vickie L Klinkhammer of Vickielynne Photography and Designs(VLP&Designs)website at www.VLPDesigns.com
