Simply awesome - First light at the appropriately named Loch Awe, painting the mountainside behind Kilchurn Castle with intense colour and warmth; a simply awesome sight indeed.
A truly beautiful location, heightened all the more so by the spectacular conditions and mirror like reflections in the still waters of the loch of the castle and its backdrop. Nature's raw beauty at its mesmerising, enchanting best.

Back to their old stomping ground Southern Shorthaul Railroad's (SSR) C506/C510/C504/C507 slog upgrade away from Callington, South Australia on the main Melbourne to Adelaide interstate corridor - 30 October 2018.
The locos were originally built for the Victorian state government railways, while the converted coal hoppers, now used for grain, were formerly owned by the New south Wales state rail authorities.
All now come under the ownership of niche private freight operator SSR.

My blacklight really made this glow. A very exciting find. I thought must be fungus. Anyone recognize it? I took tons of photos. I even brought it inside to see if I could get better shots.

Calceolaria herbeohybrida
(Slipper flower / Zapatito de Venus)
Calceolaria is a genus of plants in the Calceolariaceae family, sometimes classified in Scrophulariaceae by some authors. This genus consists of about 388 species of shrubs, lianas and herbs, and the geographical range extends from Patagonia to central Mexico, with its distribution centre in Andean region.
Calceolaria species have usually yellow or orange flowers, which can have red or purple spots. The Calceolaria Herbeohybrida group, also called C. herbeohybrida Voss, is a group of ornamental hybrids known only in cultivation, called florists slipperwort.
I think they are geese ...not very sure of their identity. Captured at Mahabaleshwar...they were having grass for lunch . What ever they did, it was synchronized..it was fun to watch :-)
I am just so enthused with those skies we see in various fashions, but in particular, the sunsets. This is of the homes across the street with their windows lit in the evening.
