Mitten in der Nacht um drei Uhr fand ich die Diessen in Stegen. Alles war beleuchtet, aber wer fährt um diese Zeit? Sie sah aus, als würde sie gleich auslaufen. An Bord war niemand zu sehen, aber ich fand den Anblick so schön, dass es mir egal war. Vielleicht hatte nur jemand vergessen, das Licht aus zu machen.

羅厝天主堂為中部地區最早的聖堂，也是當時全台三大最具規模天主教堂之一，連清皇帝都曾御賜「奉旨敬教」石碑，給予官員經過必須文官下轎、武官下馬的禮遇。現存的天主堂因歷經地震震毀、年久失修等因素而重蓋，早就已非原貌，但它的歷史價值卻是無可取代的，教堂方面也成立古文物保存陳列室，為民眾介紹天主教傳入台灣的歷程。
This past weekend was awesome. Friday night at Image lake, Mt.Baker and Saturday night at Mt. St.Helens. Both nights were crystal clear and mornings were fog filled delight!
This was my first time to photograph Helen's and definitely not my last.
We nature lovers walk a fine line.
We want to get up close, but we know it's wrong, unsafe, unnatural and unhealthy for wildlife to be too comfortable around humans. I don't want squirrels to jump in my lap begging for peanuts. But I want to be close enough with my cheap glass to get good shots. This little lady sat for me as if she knew that I just wanted a few pictures. I did not want or need more than a few seconds. I felt like she was looking right at me,into my heart, graciously acknowledging my love and respect. Thank you my love. I hope to see you again soon. Take good care.

One of the very first photos I took with my very first DSLR, a Canon Rebel t5i, on Jan. 31, 2015.
Photographed in Pt. Fermin Park, in San Pedro, CA, about 10 minutes from where I live, and a favored spot for me to race down to the point to shoot a sunrise in winter.
Newly processed 05-28-20. I didn't start taking 3 exposure AEB for HDR processing until later that year, but I did make some early attempts and my images were way too oversaturated in the beginning.
Not photoshopped, this is a genuine untouched photo from my recent cruise around the Caldera.
