A few more shots from the Audi shoot I finally get around uploading. I think the owners of the cars are all really impressed, and this should be my last batch of shots from my D70... the new higher resolution camera and improved noise control should make my HDRs look a bit sharper so I wouldn't have to mess with the noise reduction process as much.
These clouds have a very colorful edge. Rainbow colors seem to be coming out of it. Check out the next pic.
Today I learned that reading community bulletin boards can be a great source of information and entertainment!
I learned that in Stonington you can take a workshop to make a rolling owl stool! (yes, I do want a rolling owl stool!)
In Blue Hill the community is getting together tomorrow night at the base of Blue Hill Mountain at 8:30 pm to watch the lunar eclipse and hot chocolate and snacks will be provided! how cool is that! And there is also an end of the harvest dinner... free... bring your family and friends! That's amazing!
And of course, my favorite, Orion and Ened are looking for a place to stay ... and they are full of references... and .... they are generally AWESOME!! LOL!

this one sadly was written off in a fatal crash,at goodwood,in 2000..5 years later,it reflew after a complete rebuild..
This is an "awesome" Goodwill find! I was shopping with my brother and at the check out counter when I saw these gift tags next to the register. SCORE!

my best friend got me the most amazing thing for today's awesome wednesday. a small package from a flea market in paris: old tin (my great uncle's name was edward woods, i don't know if she knew this), a little leather album containing black & white photos of mountains & two little brass acorns that open up (i only just last week added a very similar acorn necklace to my etsy favourites).
she knows me so well.
