The 2010 Evening Reception honored the many Grassroots Partners who raise funds and awareness for the PA Breast Cancer Coalition. Also featured were the breast cancer survivors featured in the "67 Women, 67 Counties: Facing Breast Cancer in Pennsylvania" traveling photo exhibit.
सत फाउंडेशन के सोजन्य से आज दिनाक 01 /03/2015 को M.D.D बाल भवन (अनाथ आश्रम ) फूसगढ़ (करनाल ) में होली पवित्र पर्व पर जागरूकता कार्यंकर्म किया गया जिसमे मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में श्री अमरेन्द्र सिंह ओ. अस. डी. to मुख्यामंत्री हरियाणा व श्री शेर सिंह जी जेल सुपरिटेंडेंट करनाल व सत फाउंडेशन के चेयरमैन सतेन्द्र कुमार ,ईश्वर सिंह,सुमेर चन्द , डायरेक्टर मनोज कुमार व दीपक कुमार व सेक्रटरी भविष्य साहनी, नरेन्द्र कुमार, विरेन्दर,अनिल , हँस कुमार, व M.D.D बाल भवन (अनाथ आश्रम ) के चेयरमैन पी. आर .नाथ व सभी बच्चे और सभी टीम मेम्बर व सभी गणमान्य व्यक्तियों ने मिलकर होली के पवित्र पर्व पर जागरूकता कार्यंकर्म में भाग लिया. होली पर्व को मनाने का मुख्य उद्देश्य मानव कल्याण ही है होली पर्व के पीछे तमाम धार्मिक मान्यताएं, परम्पराएं और ऐतिहासिक घटनाएं छुपी हुई हैं पर अंतत: इस पर्व का मुख्य उद्देश्य मानव–कल्याण ही है। लोकसंगीत, नृत्य, नाट्य, लोककथाओं, क़िस्से–कहानियों और यहाँ तक कि मुहावरों में भी होली के पीछे छिपे संस्कारों, मान्यताओं व दिलचस्प पहलुओं की झलक मिलती है। होली को आपसी प्रेम एवं एकता का प्रतीक माना जाता है। होली हमें सभी मतभेदों को भुलाकर एक–दूसरे को गले लगाने की प्रेरणा प्रदान करती है। इसके साथ ही रंगो का त्यौहार होने के कारण भी होली हमें प्रसन्न रहने की प्रेरणा देती है इसलिए इस पवित्र पर्व के अवसर पर हमें ईर्ष्या, द्वेष, कलह आदि बुराइयों को दूर भगाना चाहिए। वास्तव में हमारे द्वारा होली का त्यौहार मनाना तभी सार्थक होगा जब हम इसके वास्तविक महत्व को समझकर उसके अनुसार आचरण करें। इसलिए वर्तमान परिवेश में जरूरत है कि इस पवित्र त्यौहार पर आडम्बर की बजाय इसके पीछे छुपे हुए संस्कारों और जीवन मूल्यों को अहमियत दी जाए तभी व्यक्ति, परिवार, समाज और राष्ट्र सभी का कल्याण होगा।
A traffic awareness drive was observed by Udgam School from November 6th to 20th. It began with taking the Preschool students for a visit to Traffic Park where they learnt all the rules and regulations related to traffic and also rode bicycles in keeping with the rules and signals.
The senior school students took this campaign to a different level by involving common public in the drive. Students of Class 10 formed a human chain and carried placards and chanted slogans that were related to traffic awareness. They stopped cars on the road in front of the Thaltej School and spoke to people about traffic rules and regulations which even encompassed ‘misuse of mobile phones during driving’, ‘lack of safety belts’, ’not wearing helmets’ and other issues. They even took a pledge to abide by traffic rules and create traffic awareness. In addition students ofClass 9 and 11 made powerpoint presentations and demonstrated to other classes about the importance of following traffic rules.

In the My Favourite Female art installation, kids set colour pencils to paper and drew their mums, sisters, friends and teachers. Hema (seated) created a masterpiece named "Auntie Eni", depicting her domestic helper.

It must be that I've spent more time at the tiny Daniels Cemetery than any living person. Nearly three years ago, I spent a collection of chilly, cloudy, late autumn days unearthing this place. I cut back the brush, uprighted the two spires, and dug up a couple buried gravestones. One of them, for a young man by the name of James Daniels, probably hadn't been read in the better part of a century. Dr. Allan Marble transcribed all he saw here in the 1960s – but James wasn't among those notes. In the end, there's no way I'll know what it means to remember, if it's just a fleeting awareness being followed by more forgetting. But it carries some significance for me, lingering at least as long as I do. These days, I visit here like I would some park or garden, a gentle place where I'm as familiar to the dead as they were to each other. The road is only fifty feet away, but those cars can't see me in any season. It's a benevolent isolation. Alone with the dead, and alive.
