Ben Spiess programs an audio console backstage in the Bell Memorial Union (BMU) Auditorium on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2025 in Chico, Calif. Speiss and other employees of the BMU's A/V Tech department have worked together to create the Zeitgeist Visual Society, a student organization dedicated to to providing an inclusive space where campus and community members can learn about and experience professional lighting and sound. Zeitgeist held their first rave in the auditorium at the end of September.
