We’ve had a vegan, natural latex mattress for the last seven years and in the past few years, we weren’t that happy with it. After doing some research, we decided to replace it with one from Avocado because the reviews were terrific (www.avocadogreenmattress.com). They’re also organic, all natural, handmade in the USA, and the company is carbon negative plus gives 1% back to environmental nonprofits.
Even more, they give you a one year trial (costing you nothing if you decide it’s not for you) and a 25 year warranty.
Our first impression of it is very good. Hazel was the first to sleep on it and gave her approval, which means a lot to us because she can be quite the tough critic!
Two things on this plate that I love - avocado and halloumi (spinach as well). I don't photograph food usually, I don't think I know how to do it so it looks good, BUT this meal was great so here it is.

Avocado blossoms sprout from racemes near the leaf axils; they are small and inconspicuous 5–10 mm (3⁄16–3⁄8 in) wide. They have no petals but instead 2 whorls of 3 pale-green or greenish-yellow downy perianth lobes, each blossom has 9 stamens with 2 basal orange nectar glands.

Amongst fruits, avocados contain a lot of protein and fats. To me, they are always associated with get-togethers.

(68/366) For sale in my local supermarket. For The Weekly Colour Challenge theme "Green Food". Sadly I can't stand the taste of Avocados, I think Guacamole is disgusting.
Delicious avocado Bubble Tea Smoothie from Thai Bowl in Chicago. I wasn't sure I would like it but I really did, it was great and came with a big slice of avocado in the top!

**** I've seen this all over tumblr. I have no problem with anybody reposting it, just please link it back to my Flickr. I'm not asking for much. Thank you.
Just like that. But I love the look of this and had to take a picture. :)
As for the avocado, well, it didn't make it. But it is resting comfortably in the greater beyond...a.k.a. my tummy. :)
I love them, know they are good for us, and eat a lot of them. But I'm now having second thoughts because I read that one driver of crime in Mexico is the need to clear more land for avocado-growing to feed the insatiable appetite of North Americans. In Michoacán, the drug cartels are demanding protection money from the growers. :-(

The avocado (Persea americana) (Lauraceae) is native to South Central Mexico. Avocado is also called alligator pear. Avocados are cultivated in tropical and Mediterranean climates throughout the world. They have a green-skinned, fleshy body that may be pear-shaped, egg-shaped, or spherical.
A rare visitor on a snowy day :) This fluffy avocado, complete with woolly hat was an instant hit with Chickpea (and Olive lol).
