ane Pitt has made a visual & aural sound map of the shore line during December 2011 by repeatedly walking, listening, drawing and recording it’s unique sonic fingerprint. The artist is invited locals to suggest sounds to be recorded via a postcard lettering service, in which anyone who wishes can contribute to the final artwork. This sound mapping project culminated in a showcasing weekend inside ROOM, Thursday 15th December –Sunday 18th December (10am –4pm daily). Room was situated on the green space directly adjacent to the Creek.
