i've finally gotten back to my office to scan a few more pictures of the new house -- the kitchen/dining room has these beautiful wooden french doors, which open onto a small patio...
since this was taken, i've bought a second-hand dining table & chairs (made of beautiful cherry wood), which are now underneath the chandelier on the righthand side...
and in case of interest, there is a brief "interview" with me on the ilovethatphoto photo magazine/website today! thanks, guys!
La voiture de type VU II avec sa majestueuse livrée multicolore, surnommée Papagei (perroquet en français) sur le train-auto ATZ 27917 Brig-Iselle di Trasquera ici sur le quai de chargement de la voie 90 à Brig. La Re 420 11149 assurera la pousse du train afin de traverser le Simplon. Les Perroquets ne circulent plus que sur ce train et sont en voie de disparition.

I didn't realize I had bought some Edge Cut ATZ film, but I think the horizontal "seam" works with these landscapes.

and i've been so preoccupied lately that i've just realized i'm four days late to remember carlos -- i think he would have liked these.
This was the warehouse space that we used for a collaboration piece for the exhibition Extra Cheeese: The Retired Materials which was part of Sydney Design Week 09. I always get a kick out of being involved in exhibitions, but this one was particularly fun giving a subtle nod to the genius Mr Land.
Take a look at a photo of the hung print at the exhibition, or watch the video footage of the making of exhibition piece - I think it puts a little perspective into size of the piece!
