Back Story ..............
.
Today started out fairly normal, packed all the goodies for the dogs an took off.Daylight had just appeared with slices of pink on the horizon.
MS2 and LBB were over come with joy when they heard me pull in.
Did the regular routine of feeding, watering grooming and playing around.
Nothing unusual as we three went about our business having big fun..;-)
It was now time for me to slide on over to feed Leroy, Tuff Guy and his GF.
Their feed bags were both rolled up and placed into one bigger bag that was then rolled tightly and tucked high up under my arm, seemed safe !
Wandered on out the gate with MS2 walking next to me which is not any different from any other time. She always stop's about 5 or 6 meters outside the gate and waits for my return. All is going as planned.
It's around 100+meters to where Leroy waits for his breakfast so I'm just cruising along at a medium pace listening to all the monkeys and tourists off in another direction.
Now this is were everything changes fast and I mean real fast.........
"Bang ! ", I'm hit hard from behind, blindsided by a big ass male monkey that must have sprung from a tree I had just walked past.
His head is even with mine so he hit me high and hard ! Just as fast he grabs the food bag that was securely stashed up under my arm and is off and running.
Now I won't repeat the first words that left my lips but they were yelled at a very loud volume as I'm right on his tail in hot pursuit !
My bird legs are stretching way out taking some long strides in an attempt to grab the monkey an recover the feed bag.Out of nowhere MS2 passes me like I'm standing still. She reaches the monkey just as he races up a small tree trying desperately to save his own neck while still in position of the bag.
Monkeys screaming, I'm screaming and dogs are barking as all hell is about to break loose. Glanced over to my right maybe 40-50 meters away there was 40 or 50 tourists starting to turn and document this whole event taking place before their eyes. Most of them all have a camera of some kind. The monkey in the tree is screaming and tearing at the plastic allowing some rice to now shower down upon us. So here comes another 40 or 50 monkeys that have no problem fighting me and each other over the food.Along with the monkeys Tuff Guy and GF come charging in too.And guess who shows up from the other direction ? That's right, Leroy ..;-)
MS2 is trying to protect me from the monkeys.
Girl Friend is trying to attack MS2 out of jealousy.
Tuff Guy is trying to attack Leroy out of hatred.
Leroy is trying to attack the monkeys just for sport.
The monkeys and myself are in the middle of this !
" So what to do now" you ask ? Easy Deal !
Closest monkey to me caught a foot under his chin sending him backwards.
Went down on one knee pulling MS2 in close while scooping up a hand full of gravel which was sent out repeatedly in all directions. Called the good ol "spray an pray" technique. Right at that moment I see one bag drop from up in the tree, one long reach and Leroys food was now in my possession. Sent another volley of gravel straight up at the monkey which forced him to jump to the ground running for his life with torn food bag in his hand, 40 or 50 monkeys an two dogs right behind him. After all that he dropped the bag an ran up another tree leaving the other monkeys to fight over what was left with Tuff Guy and GF !
At this point things start getting a little strange ........
With Leroys food bag in hand and MS2 tucked in close to my leg I glance back at the tourists....The 40 or 50 had now doubled in number and seems as if they all had cameras in their hands, pointing at me ! "So what t do now " you ask ?..
Easy Deal.. I removed my hat an took a bow, waved to the crowd then went an fed Leroy ..;-)
Mr Leroy consumed his breakfast in breakneck speed an then came over to join MS2 and myself. If you remember back in this jungle dog saga, well over a year ago Leroy got himself into some big trouble. When MS2 was no bigger than LBB he had bit her on the head. For that MS1 and her BF kicked his ass badly plus he was banished from the Palace for life !
Well Leroy being a silly boy came up to MS2 all apologetic like as if saying "I'm Sorry" . MS2 gave him a little lick on his nose, they played a little bit an all was forgiven.
At this point MS2 and I headed to her Palace to check on LBB, she was just fine.
.
One thing I want to mention, MS2 has never been over to this area before in her life.
Maybe she'll return to play with Leroy and maybe not, that's totally up to her. Maybe
she came over here just to save my narrow ass from the aggressive monkeys ?
Either way today MS2 was a Hero in my eyes ....;-)

The John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum is a 1000-acre (4.05 km2) National Wildlife Refuge spanning Philadelphia and Delaware counties in Pennsylvania. Located in Tinicum Township, the refuge is adjacent to the Philadelphia International Airport. Established in 1972 as the Tinicum National Environmental Center, it was renamed in 1991 after the late H. John Heinz III who had helped preserve Tinicum Marsh.
The refuge serves to protect the largest remaining freshwater tidal marsh in Pennsylvania; approximately 350 acres (0.8 km2). When land acquisition is complete, the refuge will consist of 1200 acres (4.9 km2) of varied habitats.
The Refuge is home to a variety of wildlife despite its urban location. Birdwatchers have recorded over 300 species of birds in and around the Refuge, 85 of which nest here. Migratory birds like warblers, egrets, sandpipers, and a large variety of ducks, within the Atlantic Flyway, use the refuge as a resting/feeding spot during spring and fall flights. Since water levels can be controlled in the impoundment, the water is often drained in early fall at the refuge. This serves both to reduce the large population of invasive carp and makes the impoundment a large mudflat, which renders it very attractive to migrating shorebirds. The water levels is raised later in the fall so waterfowl can use the impoundment.
In addition, deer, opossums, red foxes, raccoons, coyotes, beavers, river otters, minks, woodchucks, and muskrats take refuge here along with a wide variety of wildflowers and plants.
The refuge has five varied habitats: freshwater tidal marsh, impounded water, woods, meadow and field. The diversity of such habitats in such a concentrated area make it a natural magnet for all forms of wildlife. In addition to the above-mentioned there are a wide variety of fish species that can be found in both, Darby Creek, the lifeblood of Tinicum Marsh, as well as the 145 acre (0.6 km2) impoundment and the smaller, Hoy's Pond. They include brown bullhead, channel catfish, crappie, carp and small striped bass that utilize the wider expanses of Darby Creek, just before its confluence with the Delaware River, in the earlier stages of their development. The fields and meadows provide open areas where wide arrays of insects including several species of butterflies can be found foraging the dozens of species of wildflowers.
Bats are frequently observed by visitors on the refuge during warmer seasons and a formal species diversity and population survey would provide valuable information on recent declines of these important creatures due to white nose syndrome and habitat disturbances.
There are several species of reptiles and amphibians that call the refuge home including the northern water, garter and Northern brown snakes; pickerel, wood and southern leopard frogs (the latter listed as endangered in Pennsylvania) and the state threatened American red-bellied turtle as well as the painted, snapping and eastern box turtles.

"A dragon, sir! Cried Rowan. "I see a dragon approaching from the west!"
"Go get the wizard" Came the calm reply. "He should be somewhere in the town."
Rowan went to find Aidric. After finding him in the tavern (Naughty wizard!) Rowan explained why he had come to get him.
"A dragon! I saw a dragon heading from the west!"
"The black dragon?" Inquired Aidric. "The one attacking the farmhouse?"
"No." Rowan replied "This one is red."
As Rowan and Aidric walked up the path toward the tower, Aidric sees the dragon, now much closer than it was before.
"God help us." Whispered Aidric.
"What?! What's wrong?"
"A wyvern." Came the solemn reply. "A red wyvern. Very rare. Very dangerous."
"Behold wizard! Shouted the knights captain, Tristan. "The dragon approaches, can you ward him off with your magic?"
After a short pause, Aidric answered. "I can surely try"
Then the dragon flew faster, approaching the tower faster than possibly imagined. It swooped down, and let out a breath of fire. Engulfing the side of the tower.
A now familiar burst of green light emitted from Aidrics staff. And an invisible hand seemed to punch the dragon, causing it to fly backwards to regain balance.
"Your puny swords will do nothing to this dragon!" Aidric screamed to the knights on top of the tower. "Hide in the tower, and save yourselves!"
"I will not run in terror, while this dragon is attacking my tower!" Cried Tristan. "I would rather die bravely fighting, than hide like a little child!
"Same with me!" Said Espan.
"And me!" Replied Alan.
Aidric sighed in frustration. "Fine, fight if you must."
The dragon came flying in for another attack, but before Aidric said a word of the aincent language, Tristan flung his sword, straight toward the dragon. The dragon couldn't alter it's fast course, and it flew straight into the blade! The blade landed squarely in its eye!
The dragon let out a squeal, so loud that it temporarily deafened the knights closest to it!
"Well I'll be! Cried Aidric. "I can't believe it!"
Then he remembered the dragon was still alive, though hurting painfully. He said the most powerful spell he could muster, and from his staff came a giant fireball. Engulfing the dragon. The dragon became a giant flying fireball, and it flew away. Though not dead yet, Aidric knew it would die soon from it's wounds. Or another dragon would kill it, and eat it.
Later, while the towns inhabitants cheered for Aidric and the knights, a stranger in a black cloak waited in the shaodw. Silent.
He was evil. Pure evil.

Proudly presenting my latest Lego MOC.
In these pictures ...
You can see the 3rd version of my latest Lego Star Wars MOC; the NU Republic Attack Shuttle in flight mode and without the container.
I had the CustomBricks instructions lying around for some years now, and I thought I would 'simply' build this one, as I had just finished the Imperial Nebulon before.
This version has 4’400 parts including stand.
Modifications to original design:
- 501st color scheme
- Structural strengthening
- Wing stability improved
- Front turrets / guns
- Updated engines section
- Changed rear tail section
- Brickstuff LEDs
- BAD MOTHER decals
Hope you like it!

Based off of the Japanese manga and anime TV show, Shingeki no Kyojin, also known as "Attack on Titan".
From what I understand, the show is basically about giant scary naked people consuming other little people just for heck of it. Good stuff.
Well, I'm off for the week. I'll get back to everyone next week.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Enjoy your stuffed turkey... or should I say human?
