Espectacular Cumulonimbo capillatus frente a la capital de la isla. Este tipo de nube tormentosa ,debido a la gran energía que posee adquiere una forma de nube atómica o en forma de hongo o champiñón .

In the SEVENTIES today...SHORT sleeves needed...too warm for January! I think it is global warming here! I know that other places are freezing, well come here!
Fairs and rides have long been a favorite for me with all the colors and motion- really makes for some cool long exposures! This particular evening was extra special because there was a storm coming in, adding great character to the sky! I was really happy with this series. Very excited to share it with everyone in Explore!

A model of "The Gadget", the name given to the first atomic device exploded during the Trinity Test at Alamagordo, New Mexico on 16 July 1945. Fueled by plutonium, it tested the more complicated systems used in the device exploded over Nagasaki, Japan on 9 August 1945.

A WB NS train passes 3 mile island near Harrisburg on its way up the former PRR Royalton Branch. The catenary pole is evidence of the Penney’s once mighty electrified corridor that ran on both sides of the river here. Once upon a time the Roy saw passenger and high priority truck trains, now NS on a good day will send 4 trains on this line as it bypasses the busy Enola yard.
