This is a shot of some bubbles in the neck (top) of a freshly opened bottle of Desparados Verde beer, the bubbles were tiny, the whole field of view (photo) is about 10mm wide. Manfrotto Tripod, Olloclip macro @ 21x magnification, Hisy remote, Makita LED torch, brewed further in Snapseed on iPad Pro with help from an Apple Pencil, and finally gently poured in 'Photos' on iMac.
Aluminium is often a component of bicycle hubs as it is lightweight but strong. This Hi-Lo hub (rare) uses aluminium (the section in this shot) and steel. Aluminium is an element on the periodic table with an atomic number of 13 and is my submission for Macro Mondays. HMM one and all!
I found this intriguing and complex mural “Atomic Kosmos”. Perhaps you recognize on the left side, one member of the 'Halloween-family'. They are on the same wall ;-))

A little flower I noticed while walking in the center of Portland, Oregon, early in the morning on a bleak Winter day. Up close, shot with a macro lens, it is evocative of that bleak morning and looks quite interesting.
Crane Flies look like giant mosquitos, but they do not bite. They somehow gained a reputation as mosquito eaters, but the adults don’t eat anything at all - they only live 10 – 15 days.

I took this photo of the sunrise over my garden today and it looks like the explosion from an atomic bomb. I guess it is the way the sun is shining through and lighting up the clouds on the horizon and the mist over the field - very spooky!
