Some great cloud cover over the Rowbank Reservoir just outside Howwood village a couple of weeks ago, a far cry from todays wind and heavy rain we're getting. The hill way in the distance is Misty Law, which i'm planning to hike in the summer to check out the view :-)

I had a pretty good digging day. Here you see an ink bottle, Ace shoe polish and a round tube marked 'Prudential', which I though was an insurance company. Maybe they handed out these tubes so you can save quarters to help pay for your insurance.

Macro Mondays: Knolling

A set of small tools. Two different sized flathead screwdrivers, one phillips head screwdriver, one punch, and one kind-of looks like a corkscrew? These and several more fit into a cute little plastic tool chest that is about 9.5 cm X 5.5 cm X 5 cm (3.75 in X 2.5 in X 2 in).

After a drenching storm the fields hold pools of water which make for some interesting reflections. As the storm clears and the sun sets and an incredible sky is painted.

ODC Nuts

We are nut fans, and I keep them around the kitchen all the time. Here we have Brazil nuts, peanuts, almonds and chocolate and cinnamon covered nuts. The mice are especially fond of the nuts with cinnamon and chocolate.

Lauren portrays a piece of fruit for an impromptu kitchen photo shoot. My apologies to Lauren for asking her to portray a fruit. She is definitely more cheesy than fruity, in my opinion.
