Macro Mondays

Although I fear some of them may be the same, no idea what they are. All taken yesterday in St James`s Church graveyard in Bushey.

Taken in St James`s Park, London. Have a great week ahead everyone. Mute swan, Greylag goose, female Mallards, Shelduck, coots and gulls.

Four black-bellied whistling ducks, for sure, but the others are uncertain. iNaturalist.org identifies the white and tan guy on the left as a mallard. Possible, but maybe an escaped domestic mallard. I see a little Muscovy in the third from the right. Quite a gathering in the Commonwealth subdivision, Sugar Land, Texas.

Taken from one of our windows, I’ve posted this view before, in Autumn when the trees were turning gold, in Winter when everything was covered in snow, and in during an early Spring mist. As far as I know this is the first one taken early Summer when the trees are all green.

Those windows will still be there long after Windows 11 is a ridiculous footnote in history.
