The AGM-114 Hellfire is an air-to-surface missile (ASM) first developed for anti-armor use, but later models were developed for precision strikes against other target types, and have been used in a number of targeted killings of high-profile individuals. It was originally developed under the name Helicopter Launched, Fire and Forget Missile, which led to the colloquial name 'Hellfire' ultimately becoming the missile's formal name.

ASM, 10-28-21, featuring guest speakers Erin Brockovich and Catherine Coleman Flowers, major players in clean water access for US communities, zoomed into Memorial Chapel to answer questions about environmental justice and citizenship. After the ASM Brockovich and Flowers spoke with students in HUM II and DSJ classes. Photography by Glenn Minshall.
Materials: Onestep 2 Polaroid, square of glass, digital photography, Camera RAW, Adobe Photoshop.
Process:I set up a bunch of ripped book pages and placed my model ripping up a book in the middle. I took the image on a Onestep 2 Polaroid camera and cut the image open to preform an emulsion lift. Which I then placed on glass and waited for it to dry. I took a photo of the emulsion lift on glass and proceeded to add contrast, saturation, and a fine black border to the image to frame in the white background.
Ideas: How can an artist depict the illusion of the ‘perfect’ family situation and the reality that bubbles below the surface?
Invited to deliver a talk at the prestigious Asian School of Media Studies / Asian Academy of Film & Television.
The media fills us with non-stop jibberish, so I started the session with all of us breaking into spontaneous jibberish meditation for 5 minutes. What fun! Thankfully, the room seemed sound-proof. What topics did i cover? Am quoting verbatim from my email to the dean of the college.
"ah! now i get it.
these kids are too much into traditional media,
and thinking about film, print, ad, animation, etc without understanding
the disruptive impact of new media and the new audience-profile of today.
they all need a fundamental grounding in new-media:
a) newmedia technologies.
b) newmedia home-entertainment products.
c) news aggregation. news without the top-down approach.
d) the impact of convergence on the audience.
e) market-conversations as a business-model.
f) pull, versus push, in media.
g) strategies on how to generate pull media in today's age.
h) creative commons licensing: concept, implementation.
i) social-web or social-annoyance.
the above grounding would impact anyone and everyone in any discipline
or branch of media.
as is my signature-style: this grounding would be highly-creative and
yet seeped in fundamental concepts of technology
and newmedia.
let's see."
