The internet told me Asda was open at 10. It's half 10 and it's not open. Looks like lots of people are willing to wait an extra half hour. Not me. KMT.
As recently as June, 2004, an architect's impression of what Arbroath's new ASDA store would look like.
No to single out any one of the three supermarket chains that have moved to the fringes of the town over the past few years (the other being Tesco and Sainsbury's) its just because I happen to like the framing of this photograph. Or maybe its just because the colour Green appeals to me.
Considering it was 11.30pm and the shop was empty I was really impressed with Asda. This is in stark contrast from the Asda of old. They've updated this store and added another floor with electronic goods (similar to Tesco). For once I was happy with everything I bought and most of all impressed with how cheap everything was.
