An inspiring visit to Asda this morning. In just 7 months they have helped to raise £25,000 for local causes.
As well as a popular fly-tipping area, Soho Street also appears to be a supermarket trolley breaker's yard. There were other Asda trolleys with all wheels sawn off. The surviving wheels on these two appear to be fitted with a device to prevent the trolley being wheeled away; I can inform Asda, it doesn't work. At least in Cwmbran trolleys are just abandoned, not usually mutilated.
5 hours of queuing in ASDA. 5 hours well spent. Better than those suckers with their worthless preorders, or who queued for days in London.
