7 Degree's south of the equator in the southern atlantic ocean.

In 2004, I visited Monument Valley in Arizona for the multiple photo opportunities it presents. First on the list was the Mittens at daybreak, followed by a drive around the park, enjoying the beautiful red rock formations.

Then, I just happened on this scene, catching the hot air balloon just as it began its ascent.

Victorian stained glass from St Etheldreda's parish church, Hatfield, Herts. This Ascension window is the work of Clayton & Bell, and dates from 1872. The figure of the ascending Christ is towards the top of the centre light, with the images of St James (with his pilgrim's staff) and St Etheldreda either side. Below are the aposltes of Jesus and his mother. This is the east window in the chancel and dominates the altar and nave

This is for a project in MIMS. My 1st fantasy piece. Photoshop.The angel I found in the Malaga cathedral along with the window piece in her hand. Wheel and eye, ancient symbols.

The church reaches toward the sky from a low cross-shaped podklet (ground floor), followed by a prolonged chetverik (octagonal body, and then an octagonal tent, crowned by a tiny dome. The narrow pilasters on the sides of the chetverik, the arrow-shaped window frames, the three tiers of the kokoshniks and the quiet rhythm of stair arcades and open galleries underline the dynamic tendency of this masterpiece of the Russian architecture. The whole vertical composition is believed to have been borrowed from hipped roof-style wooden churches of the Russian North. Recognizing its outstanding value for humanity, UNESCO decided to inscribe the church on the World Heritage List in 1994.
