This is the Lower Falls in the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, on a rainy day. The area is referred to as "Artist Point", but apparently there were some mistakes made in the naming of it, according to this link: www.yellowstonepark.com/artist-point/ . A beautiful location, regardless of the name :)

This is Francesca Woodman and Brooke Shaden inspired all the way :)

Ever notice how a lot of people care more about the work than the artist behind it? I mean of course, the piece of work, whether it be a photo, poem, painting, book etc, is the thing you're being impressed by, but what about the person who sat for hours imagining and creating that piece simply for the voyeuristic enjoyment of others? I'd hate it if a piece of my work got very well known and posted all over the internet but no one knew who it was by - it'd be like taking a part of me away, and even if I said I'd created it I'd probably be considered a liar.

I think this must be the best quality photo on my stream of the beautiful Underwood typewriter which John bought my last Christmas - it's beyond amazing, annoying to lug about though, it's so heavy!

I'm glad that despite this being an assignment for Uni about movement within images, I was able to make it personal to myself as well.

This was in the Park Blocks summer of 2018 where the Portland Art Museum presented a series of outdoor car exhibitions. Looks like a pretty good artist.

I take care of stray cats, please don't abandon them anymore or throw them out the window, these poor animals are part of the family, they suffer, they feel hunger, thirst, pain and loneliness, they are faithful to us until death. I am not asking for charity for them but a click or a kind word can mark the history of your solidarity ! Look at them how beautiful and affectionate they are. Thanks for them !

This is Martin Baldock who I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with.

Martin recently held a retrospective exhibition at the Rooftop Arts Centre in Corby, Northamptonshire where he works from his studio space.

What comes across clearly is his absolute conviction of the value that art plays in his life, his works created with passion and playful curiosity.

Pictorial is something that I am not used to. You have to pose, smile, bend your arm, straighten up, look to the left.

Night shot taken in Venice Italy

Artists in action at Upfest, Bristol's Urban Paint Festival which took place at the end of July in pretty awful weather. Many of these shots support my theory that artists often dress to colour coordinate with their piece.

I will upload some of the finished pieces later.

I fell in love with this fabric the first time I saw it, although I rarely get a chance to use it.

If it was lighter in weight, or sheer, I could see it being made up as a scarf. If it wasn't so slippery and shiny then possibly a shawl. As it is, I honestly can't image what you would make out of it.

Cheap Tip of the Day: This is two yards of uncut fabric (left to right) binder-clipped to a pair of trifold cardboard backboards, which are then rubber-banded at the sides to the kitchen cabinets behind them to keep them vertical. Placing a small tupperware bowl between the top of the backboard and the cabinet causes the backboard to tip toward the camera a few inches relative to the base, and eliminates the glare I would otherwise get from the flash hitting the shiny fabric.

On this day, 36 years ago, Ted DeGrazia passed away at the age of 73. All of us thank you for creating the DeGrazia Foundation, this endowment allows us to continue operation of DeGrazia’s beloved gallery and provide a museum setting for the permanent exhibition of his artwork and collections for generations to come!

My new levitation photo, I love these concept shoots and hope to do a lot more of them this year.

This ones slightly cluttered but it does resemble an actual artis studio.

With Charlotte Moore, what a good sport, hope your backs recovered.

Thanks to Martin Clarkson for letting us collaborate with your studio space!

Artist's Pallete is an amazing, multi-hued cluster of hills at the base of the Black Mountain range in Death Valley National Park. The 9-mile Artist's Drive that courses through this scenic area was closed when I visited due to the government shutdown, but it was still incredibly striking even from the main highway.
