You know, honestly, this could be in a gallery somewhere. As it is, it's just part of the cubicle decoration for Dolores' birthday. This one is titled "Artistic License" because it's using the shoe shapes that Dolores had used in a series of her paintings last year... or maybe the year before last - I forgot when I was over at her studio.
The mobile is made of wire coat hangers, paper tubes, paper plates, and shoe cutouts. Oh, and balloons.
I decided to use a photo of myself and somehow find a way to express how I view myself by editing it artistically. Why do I view myself as in this rendition? Not sure, I just stared into a mirror and kept tweaking the photo until I felt it captured the "essence" of "me". Read into that what you like.
All edits were done with either: Adjustment layers, masks, or filters. No individual 'localized' tools involved (aka burn/dodge, healing brush, liquid filter, etc).
