Mt. Baker - Snoqualmie National Forest, Washington
The most popular of the trails is the Artist Ridge Trail, a 1.5 mile (2.4 km) walk with fabulous views of Mount Baker and Mount Shuksan.
The trail starts at the Artist Point Trailhead. This trail is very popular and remains snow covered for most of the year.
The trail starts by heading east from the parking lot along Kulshan Ridge. Take in the views of Mt. Shuksan, Mt. Baker, and the American border peaks as you hike through high alpine meadows that may start to bloom by the late summer. The trail gradually ascends to Huntoon Point where the panoramic views won't disappoint.

20th August 2021 at Coal Drops Yard, London N1.
Cubitt Sessions (annual series of free events).
Country: South Africa. Style: Western Classical Music - Opera (and some Popular Music).
Lineup: Catriona Hewitson (v [soprano]), Idunnu Münch (v [mezzo soprano]), Zwakele Tshabalala (v [tenor]), Alex Otterburn (v [baritone]),Chris Hopkins (p/director).
This concert was planned to feature four young singers associated with English National Opera. However, Sophie Bevan dropped out and was replaced by Catriona Hewitson of Scottish Opera. It was programmed by Chris Hopkins who is a conductor and pianist with ENO (and also works with the Orchestra of the City and the English Sinfonia), loosely around the theme "Once the Storm is Over". The songs took us from the calm before a storm to rebirth after it. Composers included Puccini, Verdi, Mozart, Handel and Wagner on the one hand and Gershwin, Arlen and Bernstein on the other.

I like to be surrounded by pretty things. Here are some hand-painted plated on vintage metal plate holders and a necklace I made at a class I took with Stephanie Sersich, one of the most talented women I know
I don't like to see photos of abandoned places with graffiti shit, but I think this photo is a pretty different thing...
