After a brief pause in Cabazon, the MFWWC creeps forward to climb up the last few miles of Beaumont Hill.

Smudgie generally keeps a pretty close eye on what's going on around the little ranch—she doesn't miss much. When I turned around with the camera here after taking a picture of one of the cats, there she was on the back stoop, peeking around the corner, keeping a “weather eye” on the goings on :-)

Camera: Nikon Nikomat FTN (1967-1975, with Vivitar 70-150mm f/3.8 lens).

Film: 35mm 100 ISO Arista.edu Ultra, developed in Arista Liquid Developer for 6:05 minutes @ 71 degrees, and scanned with an Epson V600 scanner.

After the lockdown ... I felt the need to take long solitary walks away from people ... this is the only way to satisfy my desire to finally feel free

I love my neighbourhood and the fall is fabulous here, with all the maple trees and others that change colors. This is the backyard view of someone in my neighbourhood from a trail that passes the lake. Isn't it beautiful!
