A monitor arm (Ergotron LX Desk Mount) lets me use a single monitor for two purposes: in portrait orientation, shown here, for work and in landscape orientation (pointing the other direction) for watching videos while I exercise.
Plenty of other things in this photo need to disappear this summer, such as the 80 GB backup drive, desktop G4 and hiptop2.

My first ever arming jack. Seen here on my husband, who is a bit smaller in the shoulder than its recipient.

Taking a while for my arm to de-wrinkle, sorry.
Looks like the pressure bandage did work but wasn't brought up far enough to prevent bruising at the end.
Also the flesh coloured plaster is way way better than the giant white one i had the last time... much less noticable.
Still not really painful. weird. It really was much much worse the last time.
