Fleet Air Arm by Brian Rope

Montage created from images taken as participants lined up for the 2009 Anzac Day march in Canberra. This montage seeks to portray something of the people involved with the Fleet Air Arm Association of Australia - ACT Division. The Association aims to unite former and serving naval aviation personnel, maintain the bonds of friendship and esprit de corps in naval aviation, assist with the welfare of former and serving naval aviation personnel and their families, support Australia's Fleet Air Arm Museum, foster the preservation of the history of aviation in the RAN, and provide a forum for naval aviation matters.

ARMES Herbert Alfred by The fallen and other military

This Poppy Cross Memorial is at the foot of the tree dedicated to Alan Matthew SMYTH

Private 41667, Herbert Alfred ARMES, 6th Bedfordshire Regiment killed in action 8th April 1918 aged 19. He was born at Hemingford Grey. In 1911 lived with his widowed mother Rosetta, a Publican, and his siblings at The New Crown, Arms Corner, 2, Oxford Road, St Ives, Huntingdonshire. His late father was called Herbert. He is commemorated on a poppy cross along with Richard J Lister at the foot of a tree dedicated to Alan Matthew SMYTH Ex UDR at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire and he is at rest at Gommecourt British Cemetery, No2, Hebuterne, France.
