I believe the X supports under the chair seats are Ash, but the rest is Walnut. It's been suggested that the ends of the short sides are French Walnut and the rest is American Walnut.
Mid-century lines with original upholstery in fabulous condition.
Table and chairs are flawless except one side of the skirt under the table surface has damaged veneer at one end, and the leaf has a chip in the top surface.
Table top has elegantly angled sides - 37 3/4" wide at ends, 40" wide at center and leaf. 60" long without leaf; 72" long with leaf. (Leaf is one foot by 40" rectangle.)
Basically: 40" x 60" or 40" x 72"
Four armless dining chairs
Two arm chairs
A perfectly sized fabric-clad surface protector, lined with felt on the bottom, covers the whole table top when using the table for a project. Also a cover for the leaf.
It's really fabulous.
My dining space is being diminished in size by about 30" so I no longer have the room for this great set. I've enjoyed it for 7 years. It was a gift from the original owner.

The Spanish Colonial City of Antigua, Guatemala was founded in 1543. At one time it was the capital of most of present day Central America. A series of earthquakes in the 18th Century led to the destruction of most of the town. Largely abandoned after the earthquakes, it has been reborn as a tourist and cultural center. It features an amazing collection of Colonial Architecture, and is one of the oldest and most historic cities in the Western Hemisphere.

The elderly BE46 signal located on the Down Goods line at Barnetby seen at sunrise on 25th November 2015. This is probably the oldest signal still surviving in the area and controls movements along the Down Goods or into the two reception sidings. Like all the semaphores in the area, this is due for demolition at the end of December 2015. Photo: Ivan Stewart.
