Outside the Olympic stadium of Athens. This construction was designed by Santiago Calatrava for the Olympic games of Athens which were held in 2004. The surroundings are still today such a nice place to stroll around...

On my photo tours, I sometimes see a colour and/or structural detail that I also photograph. Later, when I have long forgotten about it, I come across it again by chance in my archive and am delighted with the find, for example because it fits in well with the style I am currently pursuing in my work. The same applies to this picture of an artistically crafted door in Imperia/Italy.

Korean architecture has a big influence from Chinese architecture, hence the striking similarities. It has an emphasis on harmony with blending in into the surroundings.
