I'm not sure if Iggy Pop or David Bowie would recognize that my EXIF info is completely in conflict with the image presented...but they just might. At a shutter speed of 1/500, the train would need to be moving at around 1400 Km/h to achieve this amount of blur. This was simulated with a 90/270 motion blur. Also, Marcie's hair would show quite a bit more movement than what appears here...although in the original frame it actually did. I didn't like the way it looked though, so I 'painted' a 'ghosting' effect at a much more moderate angle. Normally, I don't retain this much reflection from skin oils, but in this case I deliberately enhanced the reflectivity to agree with the level of the rail car. Both images were shot with my Sony A77 and 18-135. The rail car was shot in available light, while Marcie had frontal illumination, enhanced with a gold reflector, and backlighting from a bright white concrete wall.
