Fairmount Park is a busy place, especially on the weekend. But you wouldn’t know it when you’re in this spot.
You won't find this forest on any tourist information map or a National Park Map as it's a forest managed for logging.
This forest is one of England's biggest managed forests and spans several miles in all directions, there's no road, no foot path, no bridleways, no car parks, no toilets, nothing, just miles and miles of dense forest, this picture was taken from roughly the middle of the forest.

I love long exposures, everything to do with night time, the dark, sunrise and sunset.
I like to take pictures mainly at night , sometimes during the day and in dull and fading light and I will sometimes display the time and date the picture was taken too.
I tend to take pictures of Light trails, Motorway traffic, Street lights, Buildings, Landscapes, Bokeh, Night bokeh and Hexagonal Night Bokeh in England.
All of my pictures are 100% natural and untouched in every way without ever been Photo shopped or altered or messed about with in anyway whatsoever, No multi layered photography, No HDR's and No image manipulation of any kind, all of my pictures look just the way they did when I saw them at the time of taking and I'm VERY PROUD of that.
I don't do any photo processing at all, I don't even own any photo software.
All of my starbursts are all 100% natural without using any filters or anything else, as is all my bokeh, night bokeh and hexagonal night bokeh, its all natural, no funny gimmicks at all.
I don't do anything with my pictures apart from take them and then upload them , 99.99999% of my pictures don't even get cropped , they are all 100% natural and untouched and then uploaded.
All of my pictures are copy right, © All rights reserved, you MAY NOT use any of my pictures without my written consent, you also MAY NOT change, alter, adjust or rearrange my pictures in anyway what so ever.

The legend has it that Janis Joplin used to sing under the tree when she hung out in the Haight in the 60s. I can totally see it. This tree reminds me of her every time.

Panorama of Yosemite's peaks and waterfalls from the Glacier Point Observatory at early sunset. Shot with a sony NEX 3N in the awesome Panorama mode and proccessed in lightroom from JPG (wish there was an option to save as raw). Several iconic locations can be seen from this, including Half Dome and Vernal Falls.

Re: this great "bang for the buck" Canon 50mm 1.8 EF-II "plastic body" lens: Not the most shallow depth-of-field or creamy bokeh lens, but still one of my favorites to shoot wide-open in low light. It's light, focuses fast and accurately (though really loud motor), and cheap enough to not worry about it getting stolen or damaged in the rain. What's your favorite "nifty fifty" lens? Post a comment—I'm constantly wanting to try new 50mm lenses!

No, this isn't a 'recycled' image. Although very similar to the 'Enigma' scene, that was frame # 362, whereas, this is frame # 364. I only have about 10,000 frames left.
I vote for the bargain-basement Rokinon/Samyang/Vivitar 85mm 1.4!
Pros:
• Insanely sharp wide open (not in pure 50 lp/mm resolution, but in the 30 lp/mm "apparent sharpness/contrast" MTF metric
• Uncanny feeling of three-dimensional depth
• Beautiful gaussian-blur bokeh, even with specular background lights (unlike the Nikkor & Zeiss 85mm 1.4's and the Canon 85mm 1.2, all of which exhibit "condom-ring" bokeh in my own tests, due to spherical aberration OVER-correction I think)
• Razor-thin depth of field wide open (~5.0 mm at 1.0 meter here)
• Very smooth, silky dampening in the focus movement
• Manual f-stops on lens (works great with old film cameras like the Nikon FE)
Cons:
• Manual focus only
• Razor-thin depth of field wide open (no problem with DSLR live view)
