Ann Street is named after the wife of the Scottish Painter Sir Henry Raeburn who designed the street which was developed in 1816. Some classify this as part of Edinburgh's New Town and some as Stockbridge.

The memorial plaque for Mary Ann Nichols at the City of London Cemetery.
Historian & tour guide Richard Jones took me on a private tour around the cemeteries where the victims of the Ripper are buried. The flower we placed is next to the coin.

I fell into conversation with Ann while watching a Mandarin Duck on our local river. We got chatting and I asked if I could take her photo for addition to my second volume of '100 Strangers' . Ann agreed quite readily and further into our chat I discovered that Ann likes Yoga and walking. This picture is #06 in my 100 strangers collection 2 project.
