Erik Must Angell (1744 - 1814) er nevnt i Laurids Smiths brev nr. 35 (udatert) i Fortrolige brev om Trondhjem og Trønderne (Trondheim 1946) s. 95:
"Borgermester Angell er en Mand af jævn Forstand, jævne Kundskaber, men kunde Indbildningen om egne Fortrin skabe den store Mand, saa eiede vist ikke Norge større Mænd i sit Skjød. Manden er rig, og det er en Skade for ham, hidsig er han tillige, saa han ingen Modsigelser taaler, misundelig, som alle svage Sjæle, men med alt dette er han en god Embedsmand, og jeg har ellers al Grund til at troe, han er en ærlig Mand, naar det kun ikke kommer an paa at afveie sine Fuldkommenheder med andres eller andres mod sine."
Angell, Erik Must, 1744-1815, Stiftamtmand. Var Søn af Lorentz A., der tilhørte den i det nordenfjældske Norge meget udbredte Slægt af dette Navn, og Marie f. Must, en Datter af Amtmanden over Romsdals Amt. Erik M. A.s Virksomhed tilhører helt igjennem det nordenfjældske Norge. Han var født 15. Sept. 1744 og blev 1774 Borgmester i Throndhjem ved at kjøbe dette Embede af sin Formand, Bredal. I 1788 blev han Magistratspræsident i samme By og blev 30. Maj 1800 udnævnt til Justitiarius i Throndhjems Stiftsoverret, hvad han dog ikke længe vedblev at være. 24. Okt. 1804 blev han nemlig forfremmet til Stiftamtmand i Throndhjem, fra hvilken Stilling han i 1810 tog Afsked. I 1780 ægtede A. Anne Marie Lysholm (f. 1757 d. 1826), en Datter af Kancelliraad Henrik L. Af en samtidig er han skildret som en Mand med jævn Forstand og jævne Kundskaber, som en god Embedsmand, der imidlertid havde meget store Forestillinger om sin egen Betydning, hvilke yderligere næredes ved Bevidstheden om, at han var en rig Mand.

10-31-1979, Duluth, MN. Nicholas "Nick" Angell is a retired American professional ice hockey defenceman. Angell was a very offensive defenseman who liked to join the rush, acting as a fourth forward at times. Angell was a strong skater and plays a physical game. His slapshot was hard and accurate, making him a valuable player on the power play and a threat to goalies. Angell began his ice hockey career playing in the Duluth youth leagues where he honed his skills before playing at Duluth East High School. During his senior year, Angell led the Duluth East Greyhounds in winning the 1998 Minnesota High School Boys Hockey tournament, and was nominated for the Mr. Hockey award, which is given to Minnesota's most valuable high school hockey player. He was then recruited to play for the University of Minnesota in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I, from 1998 to 2002, where he helped Minnesota win their fifth NCAA Men's Ice Hockey Championship in 2002. Angell began his professional career in 2002–03, playing several games with the Milwaukee Admirals, the Nashville Predators' minor league affiliate in the AHL. He then spent the rest of the season with the Rockford Icehogs in the IHL, totaling 16 points in 73 games. The next season (2003–04), Angell was signed by IFK Arboga, in the Swedish tier two league. During the 2004-05 season, he played for the Frisk Tigers in the Norwegian Elite League, before returning to the Swedish tier two league with Bofors IK, for the 2005-06 season. In 2006, Angell signed with the Swedish Elite League team Brynäs IF where he played for two seasons. In 2007, Angell was selected to play for Team USA in the Deutschland Cup, where the United States finished in 2nd place after losing to Switzerland 3-2, in an overtime shootout. In 2008, he signed a one-year contact with the 2007–08 Swedish Elite League Champions HV71, after playing a few games for the Tampere Battle Axe, in Finland. Angell joined HV71 for the 2008–09 season, after briefly playing the beginning of the season with the Norwegian team Stavanger Oilers. After playing five seasons in Sweden, Angell moved to Germany for the 2009-10 season after signing with the Frankfurt Lions in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. In 2010, Angell played in the Kontinental Hockey League, after signing with Metallurg Novokuznets. With 18 points in 51 games, he ended up being the club's top-scoring defenceman, but as Metallurg lost all chances to make the playoffs, Nick was traded to Avangard Omsk just hours before the trade deadline on 31 January 2011. While playing for Metallurg in the KHL, Angell was the first American to be named captain of a Russian professional ice hockey team. Angell returned to the Deutsche Eishockey Liga for the 2011-12 season after signing with Eisbären Berlin. He did not play the 2012/13 season and hired with Karlskrona HK of the Swedish Allsvenskan. Angell played the 2014/15 season in the Allsvenskan too, with VIK Västeras. He retired at the end of the 2014/15 season. Angell worked as a Skills Coach for the NAHL Minnesota Magicians in the 2018/19 season. His Career-Stats: GP:863 / G:142 / A:243 / Pts:385 / PIM:1231 (1998/99 – 2014/15).

Buste i Marmor, sign. paa Bagsiden: H.MICHELSEN [færdig i 1845]. Som Forbillede for denne fortræffelige Buste har det høist maadelige Billede No. 733 tjent. H. 78 cm., uden Fotstykke 63 cm.. Bestilt for en i Trondhjem subskriberet Pengesum og foræret til *Videnskabsselskabet.

Hans Michelsen
Hans Michelsen (født 1789, død 1859) var en norsk billedhugger fra Melhus. Elev av Eric Gustav Göthe i Stockholm fra 1815 og Bertel Thorvaldsen i Roma. Arbeidet 1828-1842 igjen i Stockholm, der han bl.a. modellerte Kristus og de tolv apostler på bestilling av Carl Johan. Apostelgruppen ble utført i gips og oppstilt i oktogonen i Nidarosdomen i 1840, men ble tatt ned under restaureringen noen år seinere og gikk tapt under brannen i Erkebispegården 1983. Michelsen utførte også monumentet over Herman Wedel-Jarlsberg på Bygdøy i 1841.

Margrethe Frost f. Angell; f. 22. Mai 1672, d. 4. Februar 1763. Datter av Lorentz Mortensen Angell (f. 09.03.1626 i Angeln på Sønderjylland, d. 1697) og Abel Jespersdatter (død 1683).
Gift 17.01.1688 med kjøpmann i Trondhjem Christian Frost (1651 - 1702).
Margrethe var søster til Albert Lorentzen Angell og Thomas Angells tante.
Margrethe og Christian Frost var blant de største partisipantene i Røros kobberverk; og begge var engasjert i kobberverkets styre. Christian Frost førte en stor og omfattende kjøpmannshandel, som ble videreført av Margrethe som enke. Hun ble sentral for partisipantskapet (dvs. aksjonærene; den overordnede ledelse) for Røros kobberverk i 1720-årene; møtene ble holdt i hennes hus i Trondhjem og hun holdt både protokoller og skrivemateriale. Flere av barna hennes var også involvert i driften av Røros verk.
