An abandoned shopping trolley found in the backstreets of Thebarton, making wavy shadow lines on the corrugated iron wall.
It was great fun to hop aboard a water taxi and cruise up and down all of the canals as the sun was going down. Others were renting gondolas and were enjoying the canals too.

One of the many river Tagus channels near Escaroupim. In this area of the river, the water is already fresh offering this hidden gem with its green banks banks full of life.
Here is a shot taken yesterday at Ladybower reservoir showing the extent of the dry weather we have had this year so far.
The piles of stones are the remains of Derwent church, demolished in the 1940's prior to the valley being allowed to flood.
The normal water line can be seen above that stone building where the bracken finishes.
