I Recently had the chance to do another fixie or fixed gear bike shoot, with a good friend whom I’ve been promising to shoot since well, what seems like forever, we had bad weather and things got shuffled around a little but these are the results…
Cheers to Eric and the guys at Gear Brisbane for hooking us up with yet again some amazing bikes, we didn’t get a scratch on em, I promise. But Eric is a great guy always keen to help out and work on some cool new interesting projects no matter what they involve be it a few bikes or well (I’ll say the rest once I’ve finished working on the projects). You should go into the store if you are close to the Brisbane CBD, or visiting from out of town, its an amazing store and I guarantee you wont find another store like it anywhere in the world and for so many reasons…

Thanks to all the girls for putting up with me and the summer heat and lack of fresh air throughout the shoot due to the location, I’m sorry the weather turned and we couldn’t be out in the open. Thanks to Lewis for the million stupid questions you asked that probably extended the shoot to another half an hour, and for dabbing the sweat off of everyone when needed, you are definitely the weirdest most interesting assistant I have ever had on a shoot buddy…

AMPM Travel Alexander bodied Volvo Olympian seen on Corporation Street on 10/04/2010. It was later painted into Fort Dunlop livery before passing to Thandi when AMPM ceased trading.
This was new to Dublin Bus as RA301 (96-D-301).

Opened a couple of years ago. This is an ARCO AMPM gas station with a Popeye's attached. It is one of those gas stations with a fast food restaurant inside. It even has a drive-thru.

Old Square, Birmingham, West Midlands.
Wearing the companies standard livery 486 is seen working in Birmingham City Centre. The destination has been caught in the 'off' position but the vehicle is working service 14 to Chelmsley Wood. 486 is a former London Central vehicle which was built to single door layout from new.

M Travel Volvo Olympian BRZ5933 is a very well travelled bus under it's previous registration of L557YCU. Starting life as Kentish Bus (557), it has passed through the ownership of Arriva in Kent (5557), AMPM and Archway Travel before coming to West Yorkshire. Seen here leaving Wakefield for Pontefract on route 183 it is still wearing the Archway livery.
In recognition for the great work done in restoring Pittville Gates the team, including RRA architects, AmPm contractors, Cheltenham Borough Council and the Friends of Pittville, received awards from the Cheltenham Civic Society.
Fantastic work by all concerned - well done team!
