A bit damp from a shower and slightly backlit.
Sorry another fox shot I don't have a camera the now trading in the Z6.2 was going to get the Z8 but read some issues with a batch so probably get Z9.

Amber Rose is one of the old boats dotted everywhere abandoned and rotting in what looks like a graveyard for boats on the Wallasey coast near Liverpool.

Early December and the amber hues of the dry water rushes reflect in a Rhode Island coastal pond. The beauty of amber and blue together plus a wonderful play of light and movement in the water and grasses are deepened by the late afternoon sunlight.

Two people I've photographed before. The woman playing the guitar is Amber. The man sitting while enjoying her talent at the Portland Saturday Market is Jackson. Both arrived in Portland in 2016, but from different cities. I consider them my friends as I'm always happy to see them while I do my candid photography in Portland.

About 4 weeks ago I was notified by Jacksons wife that he had tragically passed away. Just terrible news. People wonder why I enjoy going to Portland so often to do my photography. It's the people I meet and, from those meetings, the new friendships that are created. Jackson made a lasting impression on me. I will never forget him. RIP, my friend.

I have these old medicinal, vanilla and cream bottles sitting in the window...I have taken pics of these before...quite a while back with my older camera...and decided to shoot them again...arranging the colors...experimenting with them. I tried texture...but, the glow of the bottles seems to get lost in translation with it (not that it looks bad, just don't think it is quite right yet)...will have to create just the right texture for them to make it work...=) It really does look better against the black...
