Due to a number of reasons (soft temperatures, lots of rain,...), my local area is seeing a huge amount of snails this year.
While they can be an absolute nuisance (if you're into gardening for example), some of them can be quite photogenic as well.

Macro Mondays theme Translucent
Backlit amber pendant, measuring 3x5cm. I love the way the light bounces around the inside of this piece of amber.
I must admit I found this week's theme a bit of a challenge. I took so many photos of various ideas only to find them replicated in today's Macro Mondays. I took some more today but they didn't really work out how I’d hoped (like dissolving crystals of vegan jelly in water- consequently we have lots of jelly to eat now😁). In the end I managed to take a few like this although I wish it had been taken against a black backgroud. Still nothing is ever perfect is it? 😚 HMM!
