These pilings (for securing log booms) have been relaced by steel ones.
I took this picture in the early morning fog with pilings that are clearly falling apart in the foreground to capture an image represented life. In that so many things in life just slowly "Fade Away".
PS. Before logging companies used wooden pillings they tied directly to live trees.
The destruction is evident all along the rivers edge.
I first thought this Owl was winking at me, but as I looked at the series I think this owl has damaged/blind right eye. East 90, WA Taken 02-08-2020

Had a drive up to the Angel of the North last night to get some light trails. Should have used a wider lens maybe?
We have chicken, slathered in a very saucy sweet & sour flavoring sauce, mixed vegetables that is laying oh some comfortably over a bed of steamed white rice, as a can of Pepsi looks over it all with a voyeuristic gaze.
