Blackhall Rocks on Sunday afternoon.

These pilings (for securing log booms) have been relaced by steel ones.

I took this picture in the early morning fog with pilings that are clearly falling apart in the foreground to capture an image represented life. In that so many things in life just slowly "Fade Away".

PS. Before logging companies used wooden pillings they tied directly to live trees.

The destruction is evident all along the rivers edge.

 

I'm new at taking pictures, so any and all advice is welcome!

I first thought this Owl was winking at me, but as I looked at the series I think this owl has damaged/blind right eye. East 90, WA Taken 02-08-2020

Another from Whitby the other day, I've deleted the other red rocket photo as I wasn't happy about the composition. Would have still prefered a long exposure but at least it gives me an excuse to return (not that i need one).
