One of the most unique mountains I've ever seen, Ama Dablam (22,349 ft), towers straight up into a hazy Nepal sky.
Ama took a little more time to get to sleep since she's more a fan of discovering things. A nice bath and book took care of that.

Fronds of an `ama`u fern radiate from its stalk. These can grow 15 feet tall, but here along the walls of the Halemau`u Trail they hug the rocks and don't get that tall.
