The oldest conifers in Europe are 2.000 years old larches in Val d'Ultimo, in the Alto Adige region.

Typical Alpine chalet and a man in a hat and apron. The men in this area routinely wear blue, sometimes embroidered, aprons in the day to protect their clothing.

Lots of springs and carved tree trunks taking them to cattle troughs, usually hollowed out logs.
