Evening view along the banks with more water and green on the way. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
Long exposure shot during the day of the pier of Newport, Belgium. Not a rough sea... took me 2 minutes to expose it correct with a bigstopper...
Beautiful male Blue-wing Teal duck in full display plumage slowly maneuvering its way through a tangle of cattail stalks to open water.
I walk this nearby trail quite often, and on this day, I thought the sumac (i think), the fence and path made for a nice enough composition. Just nice enough: not spectacular by any means.

Along the trail, we found a sunset, a solar barn, wildflowers, and a FENCE. A FENCE for Friday! Imagine that!
Note: My computer may be dying. I uploaded this photo before the death, so I was able to make it public via my iPad.

Blue Ridge Parkway, North Carolina
The butterflies were out in great numbers along the Parkway on 9/27. The day was sunny and warm with little breeze and I saw a number of Gulf fritillaries, Buckeyes, Swallowtails, Painted Ladies, and lots of Monarchs.

walking on the dike with the houses down on the left and the water down on the right. Always happy when there is not a bicycle (read race bicycles) coming front or back. They are not allowed to ride here but down on the road which isn't half as nice as on the dike. There is just enough space for one person to walk most of the time, but tell this to the cyclists, they think they own all the roads.

You're only here for a short visit. Don't hurry, don't worry. And be sure to smell the flowers along the way. Walter Hagen
