Walking across a bridge over the Clark Fork River at sunset, I saw this couple, all alone on the top level of a parking garage, begin their dance...

The early bird...gets the shot! My wife took this candid image of me, all alone, photographing 'The Treasury' (the first building one encounters in Petra) before the cruise ship tour groups arrived...

Shot handheld sitting on a cold basement floor, lit only using an Edison bulb to throw a starburst pattern on the concrete wall. Manual focus on the subject, 24mm, ISO100, f/11, 1/2 sec exposure to allow for the movement.

Over exposed, gives an almost snow covered illusion

The poppy fields of 2020 are the most dense and vivid we have ever seen. We were careful to follow our county's guidelines that require wearing a mask while outside. Needless to say, they weren't really necessary as we had the fields to ourselves.

One little leaf that I picked up amongst all the leaves that are blowing all over our streets and gardens! Of course it is Autumn but having had Storm Amy passing through, the last couple of days, there are more fallen leaves than normal!

Definitely Dreaming - Week 37 All Alone

This week was easy :) As there is always a lone figure somewhere on the beach. However, this chap did have a few gulls to keep him company.

One of my first attempts at an HDR. This house is located at a busy intersection in China. It's all alone, sitting indiscreetly in front of a Carrefore shopping complex. Not sure how much longer they can hold out, or exactly what the situation here is. I did see some people living here though.
