I made some changes to the knight I originally designed for a chess collaboration changing the base and updating the armor to use metallic gray to give it a more authentic look.. I then modified the base to give it a bit more height and drama. This is now up for support on LEGO Ideas.
After an abysmal 2016, it was nice to get back into the saddle and crank out a lotta stuff over the course of 2017. So much so that I have had to split my yearly review into two parts, one for LEGO builds, and one for YouTube videos!
Playable LEGO mini golf set that can be customized and expanded on.

Missed this the first time around. I had been collecting parts, but was able to pick up the official set during a re-release. I still have two alternatives to build when I finally collect all the parts.
I canvased my parts searching for pieces camping out among the collection, looking for ideas on another build I could pitch. I think this, my second Iron Forge entry, is rather in-tents.
Created for Iron Forge 2026 round 1 with the seed part being chairs of which 6 are used here.
Inspiration comes from the strangest of places sometimes. Usually a picture you see in passing, or an idea in your head, this for me was a song. Dark and unknown Vide Noir comes at you from the shadows of your mind wondering, what if I never come back again? Sadness comes to the forefront, but what if their is hope beyond the veil, the satisfying end to a life well lived?

Many nights have I heard her voice
Whisper my name without making a noise
Calling out from a pure, black void
Tears of sorrow or tears of joy
Drops in my cup as my mind is destroyed
Staring into a pure, black void
So what if I'm living out past the edge?
So what if I never come back again?
Many evils have I enjoyed
Prowling the night raising hell with the boys
Getting high on a pure, black void
I am only an aimless soul
Heading into a pure, black void
So what if I'm living out past the edge?
So what if I never come back again?

White skyscrapers are rising from the cloud shaped island. Many people. Not so much space. Air tube transport. Glass and greenery.

In the future a new earth-like planet - named Ademis - is discovered. A group of people with different skills is sent to Ademis to live there and examine the pre-conditions for a larger colony to be established.
This is a health care module with a garden passage, examination area, treatment room and surgery room.
My previous MOC Part I is a habitat example module. My aim is to build further example modules to visualize the various functions of the colony.
About one year ago I published pictures of this MOC for the first time. My first modern home. Since then I've built many and it has become "my thing". A couple of days ago I looked at my old photos of Green Rock House and wasn't really satisfied with them. That is the reason I now publish some shots with better light setting.

Green Rock House - a build based on a vision of a sustainable and modern home close to nature.
Green Rock House is divided into three parts connected with hinges and technic pins. The roof of each floor can be taken off.
The house has full interior with a living room, kitchen, bedroom, music corner, bathroom and gym.

This time I decided to challenge myself to design a small American-inspired pickup truck. I have always found this style surprisingly fun and interesting. It was a refreshing change, but it still had the same compact proportions and practicality I like to design.
There was one piece I left out which is the black whips that I used for wiring. It's in the other pic

This piece was inspired by a sketch that artist Vincent LeLievre had shared this past summer. I’ve interpreted his sketch in LEGO and have added details that are typical of my building style.
For me, the piece follows the direction of my work "A Vanishing Brooklyn" in that it is based on the mingling of two architectural styles. Here, we have the older, weathered façade and first floor, maintained and sustained, with the addition of more contemporary modules built upward and on to it. Also, included are the green roof elements from Vincent’s original sketch, which I’ve interpreted to also elicit the ‘sustained’ aspect of this piece. I am really happy with the results here. Much like "A Vanishing Brooklyn", this piece was inspired by another artists concept and I knew I wanted to interpret it the moment I saw it. Enjoy!

Some pics of Guardians’ ship #76193 and my favorite Thanos fig in the City
Great Spaceship build- thing is solid!
Was the ship ever actually called “the Benatar” in the MCU or just on @JamesGunn’s Twitter?
I feel a little Mandela effect on this
