This build has been on going for a month or so now, it was going to be a dark creepy tower. But as my mood lifted and as an antidote to the dark wet winter evenings it's morphed into a a bright colourful creation .
The peaceful people of the Otawa have never been much involved with regional politics. But when their small town proves a strategic location for a group of bandit's new hideout, a massacre commences...

In his house at R'lyeh, dead Cthulhu waits dreaming ... no more ... for he has awakened ... and soon madness will spread.
The sixth round of the local building competition for creative use of certain parts. This time the seed part were binoculars. This time I didn't manage to build anything really worthwhile, but the idea of castle towers made of binoculars seems interesting to me, so maybe this will inspire someone more skilled to build something even cooler.
The pillars rose like fossilized giants, their surfaces veined with alien resin and layered with clustered nests. Insect-like beings clung to the stone at impossible angles, their segmented bodies still and watchful, limbs folded tight as if carved from shadow.
Below them, masses of eggs filled the hollows between pillars, packed together in living constellations that shimmered with faint, organic light. None of the creatures moved, yet the entire place felt awake, as though the pillars themselves had grown eyes and were patiently guarding something that had not yet learned how to breathe.
The final, seventh round of the local building competition for creative use of certain parts. This time the seed part were mixel joints.

The Blade of the Horizon, the only ship ever to survive and win the dreaded Nebula Reaver Run, lay half-submerged in a silent swamp, its radiant hull dulled to a bruised, battered sheen.
Thick fog curled around its fins like ghosts mourning a fallen champion, muffling the hiss of cooling metal and the distant croak of unseen creatures.
In its prime, the ship had carved through asteroid storms and enemy fire with effortless grace, cheered by worlds that believed it invincible.
Now, tangled in vines and sinking inch by inch into the murky depths, it seemed to exhale its former glory into the mist, as if the swamp itself had claimed the last breath of a legend.
Beneath the sky where silence sang,
A silver seed through starlight sprang.
It struck the earth with breath of flame,
And from that fire, the First Tree came.
Its roots ran deep through time and stone,
Its crown of light stood skyward-grown.
Around its grace, white towers rose,
A city born from dawn’s repose.
They crowned the tree with woven light,
And watched it bloom through endless night.
Each fruit that fell was gently caught,
To rest in hands with wonder fraught.
But pride grew tall where roots ran deep,
And dreams once pure began to sleep.
They took the fruit, forgot the song,
And wondered why the light felt wrong.

Hey guys, I found us some transportation. This alien wasteland is not going to explore itself.
Baturion
Earlier this year I created some 8x8 vignettes using the Batman Movie CMF for the Brickfanatics Website. I've created another four using the TRU CMF here's the second one.
Even the most adventurous space explorer needs to have a pit stop now and then. Luckily for spaceman Chuck he landed on a planet with lots of vegetation ... you never know who might be watching!
As the explorers landed on Cyria Q35I, they were immediately struck by the unusual vegetation that blanketed the landscape.
Plants with twisted, gnarled stems sprouted bulbous, glowing fruits that emitted a sickly-sweet aroma, while others seemed to undulate in the breeze like writhing tentacles.
The explorers were both fascinated and repulsed by these alien plants, wondering how they had evolved to survive in such a strange and hostile environment.
Although it is mostly blind, this heavily armoured demon is still known as one of the most ferocious fighters. The smallest sound attracts them to a target, swift and agile it closes in and a single hit of that mace means lights out for their victim. Quick and deadly!

Been a long time since I've watched the classic trilogy. Need to fire it up again soon.

A quick build I took to Bricklive Birmingham to display whilst helping out on the Firestar Toys stand.
A tribute to the tranquil moments that have been rare lately. Life has become quite hectic but thanks to my wife I do find some time to build once in a while. I'm insanely grateful to have her.
Happy St Patrick's Day💚🇮🇪 A rather less publicly celebratory day than normal, but hopefully celebrated in some shape or form if at all possible.
Nigel is getting a little over excited about the Holiday Season and feels the time is right to trim his tree.
After that disaster with the OFE units, the Blue Mystery company dissolved and was never heard of again. Or so it seems.
They moved off-world and worked in secret for many years on a new line of robots. With the launch of their latest product, S.A.P.E (Sentient Automated Planetary Explorer) they took over space exploration.
And indeed for a while all was well and Blue Mystery was able to clear their name. Until reports came in from far and wide about the sheer stupidity of the S.A.P.E. units. It was not long before people referred to them as "Stupid Apes". And with that the fate of Blue Mystery was finally sealed.
"The evil on this island is about to learn that justice can be very...cold."
Sometimes it's nice to go back to where things all began.
"A great scientist. An even greater candy eater."
I enjoyed working on this build. There were plenty of building challenges. I'm especially glad I managed to put together the frame for the chalkboard, since I only have special frames for it in a couple of colors, and those are Medium Orange and Light Violet.

After the Great War of the Tribes, many have modified their battle mechs for different everyday tasks. This is the case with Silas Xyl. He used to operate a minesweeping mech, mark 7, but after the war he opened a kindergarten, where the small mech was perfect for nusring tadpoles. He chose to use the mech for nursing as both mines and kids are equally dangerous materials to work with.
Obviously my mechs will be only in the frog "family" :D

I had fun with this one, trying to get the lighting and reflections right. Plus, The Dark Knight is one of my favorite movies, so it was cool getting to build something from it.
