This build has been on going for a month or so now, it was going to be a dark creepy tower. But as my mood lifted and as an antidote to the dark wet winter evenings it's morphed into a a bright colourful creation .
In his house at R'lyeh, dead Cthulhu waits dreaming ... no more ... for he has awakened ... and soon madness will spread.

I had fun with this one, trying to get the lighting and reflections right. Plus, The Dark Knight is one of my favorite movies, so it was cool getting to build something from it.

Earlier this year I created some 8x8 vignettes using the Batman Movie CMF for the Brickfanatics Website. I've created another four using the TRU CMF here's the second one.
Although it is mostly blind, this heavily armoured demon is still known as one of the most ferocious fighters. The smallest sound attracts them to a target, swift and agile it closes in and a single hit of that mace means lights out for their victim. Quick and deadly!
You might not be everybody's cup of tea but if your true to yourself, those who like you. Will drink your tea.

On the captivating alien world of Strion 3B, geode mining has reached new frontiers with the introduction of autonomous mining machines. These cutting-edge robotic marvels are designed to navigate the treacherous terrains and extract the precious geodes with unrivalled precision and efficiency.
Powered by advanced artificial intelligence systems and equipped with an array of sensors, these machines roam the alien landscape with a graceful purpose. They traverse rugged cliffs, traverse deep ravines, and manoeuvre through dense vegetation, all while adapting to the ever-changing topography of Strion 3B.
The integration of autonomous mining machines also ensures the preservation of Strion 3B's delicate ecosystem. Their precision and accuracy minimise disruptions to the surrounding environment, mitigating potential harm to the unique flora and fauna that inhabit this alien world.
After that disaster with the OFE units, the Blue Mystery company dissolved and was never heard of again. Or so it seems.
They moved off-world and worked in secret for many years on a new line of robots. With the launch of their latest product, S.A.P.E (Sentient Automated Planetary Explorer) they took over space exploration.
And indeed for a while all was well and Blue Mystery was able to clear their name. Until reports came in from far and wide about the sheer stupidity of the S.A.P.E. units. It was not long before people referred to them as "Stupid Apes". And with that the fate of Blue Mystery was finally sealed.
There's nothing better than driving home and watching the sunset.

The fourth round of the local building competition for creative use of certain parts. This time I think I did a great job using the holes in the minifigures' legs..
Happy St Patrick's Day💚🇮🇪 A rather less publicly celebratory day than normal, but hopefully celebrated in some shape or form if at all possible.

Inspired by concept art by artist OzArt212. I loved the shape and color blocking. Obviously I took some liberties with the design, but I still hope I did it proud.
Massive thanks to Nick Trotta for his help with the nose section. Specifically making the tapered side 'supports' flush with the fuselage.
This abomination is only after one thing...to eat everything it senses. This demon has neither skin nor eyes, but has no trouble finding its prey.
20th build in my Iron Builder round against LittleJohn, using the Toy Winder Key part in dark orange.
After the Great War of the Tribes, many have modified their battle mechs for different everyday tasks. This is the case with Silas Xyl. He used to operate a minesweeping mech, mark 7, but after the war he opened a kindergarten, where the small mech was perfect for nusring tadpoles. He chose to use the mech for nursing as both mines and kids are equally dangerous materials to work with.
Obviously my mechs will be only in the frog "family" :D
Dear diary,
Today I went treasure hunting at the old temple ruin. Luckily I brought my harpoon with me as the place was swarming with crustaceans. I guess I'm having shrimp cocktail this evening.
