Overview of the inner sanctum of Raus'zod.

~~~
Intrepid adventurers exploring deep under the Decaying Peaks may find an entrance to a cursed dungeon: the Weeping Skull Mausoleum. Few who enter ever return to tell their tale. Those who do recount harrowing encounters with swarms of undead, under the command of the archlich Raus'zod the Malignant Dread.
No adventurer has made if far, much less to the lair of Raus'zod.
Built for Summer Joust 2025 - Where No One Dares Go.
Well, this started as a simple idea of a lich's lair, but grew quite large. A little rushed at the end to get this submitted on time, but I'm fairly happy with how it came out.
It was little difficult to frame for photographs with what I have.
A fun mix of angles and curves. Building the floors was an interesting challenge.
My favorite part is the central orb platform and the curved stairs around it, as well as the blood fountain. I'm proud with how well that turned out.
Many bits and pieces that got cut for one reason or another. I was planning to use a lot more bones in the build, including a few bone pillars. Ultimately thought they would obscure too much.
A microscale block of flats in Swedish summer surroundings.
In some way inspired by the art of Jaxco (000float @ Instagram).
A great additional element here for my diorama hangar scene a articulation boom lift which provide lifting versatility to reach pilot cockpit within the mecha. There is a hidden extended floor design at the platform.
A fun build that was part of a collaboration on Instagram.
Albert Einstein said that life is like riding a bicycle and to keep your balance, you must keep moving. So in 2017 just keep moving and enjoy your ride!
In a glade shadowed by pine trees lies this house. It has a large terrace (to some extent inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater) and a cosy conservatory with garden view.
It might not be my most complex build so far, but it's still one of of my hardest to finish. In April, after years and years of hard work as a legal counsel with high speed approach and self-imposed performance requirements, I ran out of energy. My brain stopped co-operating and I lost my ability to focus. Since then, I have been struggling to recover and to find a balance both at work and in my creative process with LEGO. Thus, finishing Pineglade House MOC means a lot to me and I'm glad that I'm now on a more sustainable path ahead.
I wish you all happy new year with this totally xmasy theme :D
This was built several months ago for my DnD session. It is a Zerg (from Starcraft 2) inspired army. It is not 1/1 copy but I think if you are a Starcraft fan you will recognize what is what easily
Checkered Tan House is a spacious summer residence with light colours. It's built on top of a creek and is surrounded by green, bright green and lime green foliage. A small patio is carved out in the rocks. Fully furnished of course.
This house has similarities both with one of my earliest builds Autumn Stream House and my box-shaped Coral House.
My aim was to keep the house simple, creating dynamics only with the combination of house bodies and windows. This makes a contrast to the green surroundings of the house.
This place gives me the creeps. Why did we set up camp for the night here?
Hey, don't worry. It's just some weird trees, is all. At least we stay warm by the fire!
This is my attempt at creating an apple snail. These are large freshwater snails that can be found in many parts of the world. I used to have one of these in my home aquarium and they are endlessly fascinating. This guy will end up as a feature in a new model I hope to be building soon.
Life in Zhaba village is peaceful after the Great War of the Tribes. All of the heavy machinery and battle mechs are now modified to serve the village's needs. One of which is the food. As the frogs grew spoiled they've developed an appetite for the most exotic foods like tiger mosquitoes. This is how Tik Ney came up with his idea to start a fresh mosquitoes delivery business. He repainted his old mech, built an awesome device called "The-Mega-Ultra-Hyper-Mosquito-Zapper" and went for hunting. Eventually he bankrupted.
First of 4 frog mechs for Mechtober...hopefully :D
I shot and edited this photo during my livestream on Tumblr today with FourBricksTall. It was fun sharing my thinking, shooting, and editing process.
I've not used mist and water droplets on a LEGO window to create this effect before so it was both neat and tricky getting it to work out nicely.
This shot was inspired by a photo I saw by Giuseppe Gradella.
Really happy to have finally made this guy.
My last entry for this round of IronForge
This week in Rogue Olympics 2021 Round 3* the theme is "Monochrome".
At first I thought "Oh, black and white", but then it hit me - you can build in any color. I was already playing with the ballerina and didn't find a suiting color replacement, so here it is in all black.
*In each round builders must use maximum of 101 parts to make their creations. This one is 30 pieces.
Built for Round 3 of the Bio-Cup 2019.
So here is the story:
My account reaches 200 and several contacts ask if I'll be going 'pro', I then got offered by Shannon Ocean a gift by sponsoring the fee. To say that I was well impressed is an under statement. So let the magic continue, and this builds for you Shannon, its named the 'Shano MK1. Thanks Mate for your kindness...and if you dont have him in your contacts, best you click right this way.
Some photos of a pirate collaboration display for Brickbuilt Sydney.
Watched this dvd again today so thought I'd have a go at recreating the cover.
By 1961, the Light Armour units of the Terrastralian Army had, with a few exceptions, largely transitioned from the venerable M24 Chaffee to the M41 Walker Bulldog. The last use of the Chaffee (affectionately known by their crews as 'Chuggin' C's', due to the reliability of the design) was during the 1961 'URBEX' field manoeuvres.
The design of this Chaffee is largely based on the 2011 version of the Brickmania kit (shoutout to Brick Hog for the instructions). After finishing it, I managed to take a look at some photos of the more recent kit and attempted to make some modifications to the model so it better resembled the most recent incarnation, as well as making a few changes to the turret and cupola (searchlight and trans-clear bricks around the edge).
As you can see, it's not perfect; I had to improvise with the gun barrel, and I'm still missing some pieces in dark bley on the turret, but I'm aiming to rectify that ASAP. As always, C&C welcome!
This is the technique used to attach the clouds.
Before and after... Here is 15,000 bricks worth of DOOM diorama (minus the characters), all dissembled and ready for sorting. Took about 3 days. And so did the sorting. Yay!
A Goa'uld Death Glider from Stargate SG-1. The livery of the Death Gliders varies from episode to episode based on the Goa'uld (and on the FX team of course) so I decided to just go with a color scheme that was representative but fit with existing parts. The cockpit fits two figures and the diamond underside is built into the model undercarriage. Though we never actually see any control crystals, it is Goa'uld tech and I added a panel of them in the portion behind the cockpit.
I even made instructions and have them sitting around here somewhere.
Hate them or love them they have been around since the dinosaur ages. I have discover a very unique body design by researching it online. Mocing a giant aedes aegypti which managed to stand on it weight based on the legs design. Now where is that electric badminton? Did you know only the female suck blood for reproduction. The male is a vegetarian how ironic.
Cherry Loft House MOC (still work in progress) is a contemporary summer house with a large sloping roof and sleeping loft.
A upgraded version from it's easier predecessor "Rhino"ST109. More armaments, better protection armour and hunger for enemy. Attach with a long cannon 88mm gun on top left cockpit, twins hand Gatling guns, Infra-red dome to detect enemy in day and night also with a secondary hand all purpose. Ideal warfare would be in the desert and urban city. This design comes with LED lights infant of the main cockpit. With strong reinforcement torso bar at the thigh it will provide a more stability, endurance and agility during the battlefront with an additional 2 hooks bar.
*NOT AVAILABLE IN YOUR TIMELINE*
I usually build houses and furniture in minifigure scale and asked myself if it would be possible to create even smaller furniture. Tiny Room MOC is my first try...
Finally my Hangar No.5 - Diorama Maintenance.
Dimension size is 60cm x 60cm and took me over 2 years on and off mocing this hangar with various design being implemented such as multiple colors lights display, lego technic door open, a scissor lift boom and many more. All this can be seen in my flickr side for behind the scene. But all these is a lesson to learn along the way which I will cherish. It makes its public debut in Japan Brickfest 2017 in Rokko Island, Kobe, Japan. The respond to my MOC along with AMS JE06 Jebat was humble. I am glad to see the satisfaction, surprised look and hopefully I inspire them in a way. Stay tune. More pictures will come. Please feel free to comments. This Hangar no.5 is where my AMS JE06 Jebat stand in for maintenance check by its crew.
Ruler and creator of the almighty Air Katana
This build was part of a secret santa that I joined on the TTV message boards.
The person who I had to build something for has the Air Katana as his favorite weapon piece, so I made this fun character for him.
22nd and probably last build in my Iron Builder round against Duncan, using the Technic Rotor Blade part in Red.
I've used the part 14 times.
