On Tuesday, June 19, 2018, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs held a "Research Day on the Hill" where congressional audiences (members and staff) were provided with an overview of VA Research & Development and VA research scientists will demonstrate the latest medical research advances focused on improving Veterans’ lives. The focus of the event is research that translates into tangible benefits for Veterans. Participants will be able to see the devices or hear about the research in action and walk away with a good conceptualization of how the research has positive impact for Veterans.
