Once again I was digging out my Christmas Card shot and came across one that I like. Taken on the same day, this is a great spot that tourists pull over and get an up close and personal view of our Mountain. Not on this day however, I was struck by the harshness of the scene in the place that I love, raw and forbidding. I love a challenge. :-)

An image taken earlier this month on a still and foggy morning here in London looking across Saunders Pond in the Westminster Ponds nature area. The morning sun cutting through the mist gives a soft illumination on the bare trees across the water.

I think the Island across the water is Shuna Island in loch Linnhe. *I'm not sure what the peaks are called.
I just love to see (and hear) a mated pair of Grebes rushing. They kick up a huge splash of water as they run - dancing across the top of the water.
Once more I'm heading up Glen Derry to climb Beinn Mheadhoin. Last time I tried to cycle across this crossing and came off halfway across. This time, I played it safe and used the rocks to the side instead, much more sensible.

Every Labour Day weekend a group of us explore one of Canada's treasures: Algonquin Park just north of Toronto, Ontario. It is a time of canoeing, portaging and camping with a group of great friends in this wilderness jewel.
A very well cared for family farm with many original outbuildings in excellent condition. I seldom plan very far ahead but I saw this earlier in the day and returned in the evening. I sat in my truck on a side road for nearly an hour waiting for the light to get just right.
Smokefest is a passion project set to bring music lovers from all across the grid to one venue for 4 amazing nights. Every Saturday in January is a new mix of singers and DJs are set to perform on a very unique stage that provides a one of a kind show featuring dancers and a synced light show.
The sim itself is a destination all its own. The festival is surrounded by the beauty of red rocks and custom festival artwork scattered throughtout the land. Patrons will have the opportunity to run around and take fun photos at their leisure. Be sure to tag us at #SMOKEFEST2023.

One of the three Union Pacific bridges across the Mississippi River in the Twin Cities, Bridge 15 has a unique swing bridge design with a large concrete counterweight instead of the more typical design of the bridge balancing itself. UP's MSSDM is seen crossing the former Milwaukee Road bridge behind a reasonably clean AC45CTE, heading west on the Mankato Sub.

Found this on the beach in Ilfracombe, North Devon. The tide had just gone out and after a bit of beach combing I came across this little jem, Fabulous colours, shapes and textures!!
